Banana maple walnut sweet treat

I was hankering after a sweet dessert tonight, so I threw this together. The ingredients are all FODMAP-friendly according to the standard lists.

Ingredients:
1 banana
1 tablespoon butter
1-2 tablespoons maple syrup
6-8 walnuts chopped or broken up by hand

Directions:
1. Heat butter in small skillet on medium heat until it melts
2. Slice banana across into circles 3/16″ thick
3. Cook bananas for a couple minutes in the butter
4. Add the maple syrup
5. Add the walnuts (already chopped or crumble into the pan with your fingers)
6. Let the liquid just come to a boil
7. Serve into a small bowl

Serves 1. To scale up, just add another banana and set of ingredients per person
